Happy Wednesday, everyone! It’s officially the middle of the week. I can’t believe how fast June is flying. However, I’m happy to report that it’s been a great reading month for me (so far!).
For those unfamiliar, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam, who blogs over at Taking on the World. The purpose is to answer three questions – and that’s it! Here are the three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

One of the best aspects of summer to me is being able to read a good book outside. I’m extremely lucky in the sense that I have both a pool in my backyard as well as a cottage that has lake access. But, being in Canada, it means that I sometimes only get limited opportunities to not only enjoy these amenities but also take the time to read by them (which, does happen to be one of my favourite things to do!)
For those of you who are not familiar, Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl where she assigns a new topic each week and posts a top ten list to follow that theme. We’re free to put our own spin on it, but that’s the general idea.

The other day I was invited to an after hour shopping event at my local Chapters / Indigo store. This event was by invitation only and offered members a two hour opportunity to shop after the store closed as well as 30% off of our purchase.
Since I am constantly at my local Chapters store, I jumped at the chance for this opportunity. I told myself that I was only going to go for the experience and maybe buy one or two books if they really appealed to me. BUT, of course that didn’t happen.

Yay! I am super excited to have been asked to join the blog tour hosted by the Fantastic Flying Book Club for Save the Date by Morgan Matson!! Morgan Matson is one of my favourite Young Adult contemporary authors and it was an amazing opportunity to not only review her newest book, but also ask her some questions!
This was definitely a highlight in my book blogging ‘career’ and I am honoured that my first author Q&A was with Morgan!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today is going to be a busy day on my blog, with a total of three posts going up! I’ve got some super exciting posts coming up this month and I can’t wait!
Travelling is definitely a favourite thing of mine. I love exploring new places, and heading back to favourite places. This past month alone I went on two trips and was away for a total of three weeks! It was the best.
Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday is books that awaken the travel bug in me!

Happy Wednesday!! It’s time to talk about more books that I’m eagerly awaiting! Being a book blogger and book lover in general is a little overwhelming at times purely because of the number of books we want to read. But while it’s overwhelming, I am so appreciative that there are so many amazing books to read and look forward to.
Today’s WoW features the standalone sequel to My Lady Jane and I cannot wait for this upcoming, hilarious read I know it will be! I loved My Lady Jane (read my review here) and I just can’t wait to read My Plain Jane!

Today’s topic of Top Ten Tuesday is books I DNF’d too quickly and this one is a bit difficult for me.
I don’t necessarily have a policy against not finishing books because I do try to push myself through them, even if I’m not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. That said, there are a few books that I’ve tried and just have never been able to make it through.
Since there are not that many, I have decided to split this week’s top ten up into two sections. The first part is for those few books I wasn’t able to finish. The second part is for the books that just never lived up to the hype for me. This can either mean that I gave them a really low rating, or they just weren’t as good as I envisioned them being. Let it also be known that there are only 7 books on this week’s list … it’s just all I could think of for this week!

Happy Monday, everyone! It’s the start of a new week, which also happens to be the start of my last week on vacation! Today I’ll be heading off to Universal Studios for round two!
Today’s ARCstravaganza features a young adult contemporary that I have a feeling will give me nostalgic vibes for university with a little bit a romance intertwined!
